L-com Global Connectivity, a manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced that it has launched a line of DisplayPort cable assemblies with the 20th pin populated to provide power support.

L-com’s DPA00003-series DisplayPort cables were specifically designed to address applications where high resolution video, audio and power are required. Additionally, these cables also feature color depth of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 bits per component, support for up to 2560×1600 video resolution and support for HDCP. They are offered in lengths of 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 meters.
