Pitsco Education Partners with KUBO Robotics

Pitsco Education has announced partnership with KUBO Robotics to bring KUBO, a plug-and-learn robot, to K-2 classrooms across the US. Designed like a puzzle, KUBO’s TagTile programming language is tangible, intuitive and completely screenless — making it easy for teachers to adopt and offer younger students a social and hands-on opportunity to learn basic coding concepts and essential 21st-century skills during early childhood development.

This screen-free, hands-on solution will be available in single packs or packs of four robots. Each pack includes the robots, TagTile Coding sets, activity maps, and blank maps for students to create their own challenges, and either a single power cord or a multi-charger box that allows recharging up to five robots at a time. The introduction of the KUBO coding solution to the US K-2 education market comes at a time when recent Gallup research revealed a majority of schools don’t teach coding despite its growing demand and interest among educators, parents and learners. Without any screens or software to worry about, KUBO removes the common barriers that many primary school teachers face when embedding technology skills into the curriculum. The solution is up and running in five minutes, with no previous experience required. Now, young digital natives can build and program a robot with Pitsco Education and KUBO Robotics with their new age-appropriate K-2 coding solution.
