simTOL v5.2.0 Launched for Tolerance Analyzes

KASSEL, Germany, June 27, 2017 – simTOL version 5.2.0. is now available for all simTOL users and interested parties who would like to test the software.

The new version provides software-internal optimizations with the aim of making the application as user-friendly and efficient as possible. casim would like to inform that the data format of simTOL has been changed and casim’s software team recommends the installation of the new update in order to take adavntage of the new capabilities and optimizations.

  • The user can now customize the possible parameters for the calculation files or quality features individually.
  • the user can now choose between three predefined variables while creating or defining new elements and also in the tolerance data manager. A manually entered value is also possible.
  • The tolerance data manager, the data input and the dimension sheets have been improved through several new functions and optimizations.
  • Values ​​are now dynamically adjusted in the reports and a column has been included in the results overview to allow a comparison of the different parameters.

simTOL offers fast and reliable statistical tolerance analyses for 1D, 2D and 3D tolerance stack calculations enabling its users to influence product quality at an early stage in the development process to avoid unexpected and unnecessary production costs.
