ITI Becomes Member of Centre for Modelling & Simulation

ITI_newlogoBRISTOL, UK, Feb 8, 2017 – The Centre for Modelling & Simulation (CFMS), a specialist in high value design capability announced that International TechneGroup (ITI), the leading provider of reliable interoperability, validation, translation and migration solutions for CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM, has joined its membership program.

ITI joins existing CFMS members including Airbus, Applied Computing & Engineering, BAE Systems, eQ Technologic, HiETA Technologies, Edge Intelligence, MBDA, Rolls-Royce, Xor Systems and Zenotech, to name but a few.

ITI solves complex interoperability problems and supports key aspects of PLM and MBE integration including: product design, advanced computational analysis, digital manufacturing, change management, archival, technical data packaging, and secure information transfer.

CFMS membership facilitates engagement and collaboration between organisations residing within the high value design community, and will enable ITI to promote its solutions such as CADfix, which provides advanced geometry handling for CAD-CAE integration, simulation process automation and analysis lead time reduction.

Andy Chinn, commercial director, ITI commented: “We have been aware of CFMS and their network and activities in the high value design community for some time and are pleased to be joining. We have a significant CADfix user base within aerospace and advanced engineering companies, many of whom are CFMS members. Joining CFMS provides an ideal opportunity for greater exposure and future collaboration with leading industrial organisations, particularly in the field of advanced simulation.”

Targeted towards the high value design community, CFMS Membership offers access to a range of customisable membership packages for high value design users, vendors, academia and not-for-profits, members access to an inclusive range of services including HPC and Tech Lab, product display, product technology evaluation, room hire, joint events and use of the centre for customer demonstrations.

Sam Paice, chief operating officer, CFMS, “We look forward to working with ITI, providing access to a forum where members can share new ideas and techniques, and collaborate with the high value design community.”

CFMS welcomes applications from new members involved in high value design.
