As a versatile and efficient modular application, MDT is perfectly integrated with ZWCAD. Having been designed to assist the users in all phases of carrying out projects for roads, developments, quarries, mines, etc., MDT Professional v7.5 includes all features of Standard version and also provides conventional tools to draw surface, contours or mesh from a file of coordinates captured by any total station or GPS, to generate horizontal and vertical alignment from polyline, numerical data or a LandXML file, and to create cross sections, longitudinal and transversal profiles through the establishment of the above geometric figures.
Except for the basic tools, v7.5 also offers some advanced functions such as advanced surface operations, points management including import/export of many formats, precise volume calculation with abundant related reports and diagrams, standard sections realizing the definition and customization of platforms, road surface layers, ditches, slopes, etc., setting out allowing better measurement and analysis of chainage, displacement, azimuth, etc., generation of 3-D mesh and maps of heights, slopes, orientations, and so on.

Other optional modules such as surveying, point cloud, images and multiple additional tools for the presentation of drawings can also be adopted.
All the above functions are capable of working more efficiently and stably, which means that MDT v7.5 is able to give full play to its practical tools thanks to the basic operational environment provided by ZWCAD 2018. Therefore, this successful transplant indicates that ZWCAD 2018 is competent to offer complete and cost-effective solutions to surveying and civil engineering industries.
