Hexagon Manufacturing Launches eMMA v3.0.4

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has announced the release of the latest version of its eMMA software suite for dimensional data management and analytics. The new version of the quality management software adds dimensional quality planning, reporting and monitoring functions to support part and assemblies manufacturers across automotive, shipbuilding and agribusiness industries. It also offers enterprise-level performance for large data sets of measurement results, coupled with fast native 3D visualisation.

eMMA now features integration with Q-DAS qs-STAT, allowing eMMA 3D Analyst users to seamlessly visualise, report and analyse large measurement data sets enriched by statistical process control charts and formulas. This innovation combines the capabilities of both tools in an intuitive 3D environment. The software supports suppliers and OEMs alike in applying their unique evaluation strategies to measurement results from variety of sources, independent of what make or model of metrology system is used. This release of eMMA also offers a simplified graphical user interface along with new utilities such as the full-text search, quick-access tools to inspection plans, measurement results and templates that help streamline the dimensional data analysis workflow. The eMMA Assembler module has also been updated to support advanced 3D analysis between assembly structures, for example when analysing flush and gap quality.

At the HxGN LIVE event in Las Vegas, Mr. Torsten Schmied of Adient will present an industry case study on how eMMA Software supports the standardisation of dimensional engineering workflows at automotive Tier 1 suppliers.
