Coreform Appoints Greg Vernon, Dr. Karl Merkley

OREM, UT, Sep 15, 2020 – Coreform LLC has hired Greg Vernon as director of product development and Dr. Karl Merkley as a software architect.

Greg Vernon is a mechanical engineer whose career with Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies spans more than eight years. In his time at Honeywell, Vernon was recognized four times for superior work in modeling and simulation. He has worked closely with Coreform over the past three years, helping to demonstrate the benefits of isogeometric analysis (IGA) in manufacturing environments, and has been an industry leader in driving the development and adoption of IGA.

Dr. Merkley has more than twenty years of experience in software development and was one of the original architects of Trelis meshing software before it was acquired by Coreform in 2019. Dr. Merkley has spent his career aligning back-end technical development with the needs of real-world customers.
