Carpenter, Desktop Metal Partner for 3D Printing

PARIS, France, June 20, 2017 – Carpenter Technology Corp. has entered into a supply relationship with Burlington, MA-based Desktop Metal, Inc., utilizing more than 20 CarTech alloy grades to be used in Desktop Metal’s end-to-end metal 3D printing systems. The powders will be used in premium materials cartridges. The new partnership reinforces Carpenter’s position as a leading global producer of specialty wire and powder metals for additive manufacturing.

Carpenter Technology’s aerospace and powder capabilities will be on display at the International Paris Air Show (Hall 5, Stand E232) beginning Monday, June 19.
