SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Mar 14, 2018 – BuildingSP, a software development firm for building information modeling (BIM) workflows, has announced beta testing for its latest software product, the A2P Toolkit. The A2P Toolkit streamlines project collaboration by connecting Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks to Procore ConstructionOS, the world’s most widely used construction project management software. Data from Autodesk’s flagship BIM software platforms is published to Procore’s systems, where it can be updated and managed.
Brett Young, CEO and founder of BuildingSP, says, “The A2P Toolkit addresses a growing need – the ability to manage project data across platforms from different software providers. We leverage the public APIs provided by Autodesk and Procore Technologies to create functionality needed by contractors.”
The first features of the A2P Toolkit include:
- Publishing Navisworks files to Procore’s document storage
- One-click data population of Procore locations using Revit room names
- Procore Observation creation using Navisworks Viewpoints
The A2P Toolkit, sold as an enterprise software subscription, will include an expanding set of functionality, including integration with BuildingSP’s ClashMEP product for interactive clash avoidance and design management in Revit.
