AspenTech Releases aspenONE v9.1

aspentech_logoBEDFORD, MA, Nov 29, 2016 – Aspen Technology, Inc., a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, announced the general availability of aspenONE Engineering, and aspenONE Manufacturing and Supply Chain version 9.1 software.

The latest aspenONE Engineering innovations include the new Aspen Coil Wound Exchanger, integrated with Aspen HYSYS software to complete the solution for rigorous modeling of all cryogenic heat exchangers used in liquefied natural gas (LNG) applications at the equipment and process level. With up to 40 percent of energy used during the liquefaction of natural gas consumed by the refrigeration process, the ability to conduct system-wide optimization, and debottleneck the entire LNG process offers significant opportunity for energy savings and avoidance of unplanned downtime.

The 2016 Cost Basis Update and new models in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator software (ACCE) are also available in the latest aspenONE v9.1 software release. Improvements to the piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) editor improve ease-of-use and the accuracy of estimates by reflecting engineering designs earlier, reducing CAPEX risk.

Josh Fredberg, executive vice president, products & marketing, AspenTech said, “AspenTech is pleased to deliver our latest innovations as we continue to expand the scope for multi-dimensional optimization. The latest aspenONE software release furthers our evolution from process optimization to asset optimization with integrated engineering innovations that address our customers’ most pressing asset performance business challenges.”
