Universal Robots Opens Repair Center in Shanghai, China

Universal Robots has opened a repair center in Shanghai, China. The newly renovated location will handle all repair requests as well as house a complete inventory of spare parts for Universal Robots collaborative robots arms, servicing the entire China mainland region.

Universal Robots general manager in China, Adam Sobieski, emphasizes how the new repair center underscores the sense of urgency that UR experiences in the market.

With the 200 sqm new center in Shanghai and the powerful support by a local technical and application team, Universal Robots China is able to deliver a timely after-sales service locally.

The Shanghai repair center is the second of its kind outside Denmark after the launch of a similar repair center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA at the end of 2017. An even stronger local presence makes Universal Robots more competitive and user friendly for local customers and partners.
