Solibri Releases ARCHICAD 21 Link

HELSINKI, Finland, Feb 26, 2018 – Users of the ARCHICAD BIM-software can now fully benefit from the latest update of their unique software extension that provides a live link between ARCHICAD and Solibri Model Checker (SMC). The released software allows exchange of both complete BIM-models and partial updates, in a real-time design scenario. Next to the highly reliable “offline” IFC model exchange, this “live” link has the advantage to exchange information real-time. Simply design, check and change/amend as necessary. ARCHICAD users, with a few clicks, can export the BIM model into Solibri Model Checker, and after a rule based model check, then can highlight issues in ARCHICAD.

“Clients are asking for useful and reliable information to be used for design coordination, cost estimations, energy analysis etc. This is what interoperability with BIM is all about. At best this is secured by designers themselves before publishing the designs. This extension is a good example of that and our commitment to support the best Quality Assurance for ARCHICAD-users. We have also ensured that all current versions (from ARCHICAD V16) are supported.” said Heikki Kulusjärvi, Solibri CEO.

“With this link, our joint customers can benefit from the best-in-class design quality assurance workflow, which allows them to find design errors well in advance before those would generate costly errors on construction sites.” said to Péter Temesvári, director of Product Management at GRAPHISOFT.
