PostProcess Opens Office in Sophia-Antipolis, France

BUFFALO, NY, Nov 6, 2018 – PostProcess Technologies Inc., the first and only provider of automated and intelligent post-printing solutions for industrial 3D printing, has announced the first step in its global expansion with the opening of its first international office and the launch of its product line in Europe.

PostProcess Technologies’ Automated 3D Post-Printing Solutions

PostProcess Technologies (PPT) is recognized as the first and only provider of automated, intelligent post-processing solutions. Until now, the company operated exclusively in North America, with blue-chip customers in every major industry utilizing its revolutionary solutions. The company works with customers both directly and through a select group of channel partners across the US and Canada.

“The additive space is rapidly growing and our customers are eager for us to provide our automated post-printing solutions in Europe as well,” said Jeff Mize, CEO, PostProcess. “Customers value the unparalleled consistency of results they are able to achieve with our technology. It is simply not replicable or scalable without a software-driven solution. This is a key driver for this significant global interest.”

PostProcess Technologies has opened its first international office in Sophia-Antipolis, the technology hub near Nice, France. PostProcess Technologies International, the global arm of PPT, is led by Bruno Bourguet, a seasoned global executive with proven success in establishing revolutionary enterprise technology solutions. Previously, Mr. Bourguet was the global head of sales for HERE, the digital map company acquired by a consortium of German automotive companies.

“While we have an immediate solution to automate post-printing for support removal and surface finish, the real power of the PostProcess technology is its capability to enable true digital manufacturing,” said Bruno Bourguet. “We are very pleased to see the high interest from companies in Europe in our solutions and the role that automated post-printing plays in unleashing the power of 3D printing.”

PostProcess solutions integrate dedicated software, hardware, and additive-formulated chemistry to create unique, transformative results. The software has been crafted by benchmarking more than 500,000 parts built with all 3D print technologies. This system, born from an additive manufacturing focus, now provides a solution to parts that arrive off the printer requiring support removal and surface finishing which has traditionally been performed manually or with legacy finishing machines.

PostProcess’ technology automation of the final stages of 3D printing allows for true automated production of customer-ready 3D parts, which is fundamental to scaling 3D printing for mass customization. Because PostProcess solutions are automated, digitized systems, they enable full digitization of additive manufacturing for the Industry 4.0 factory floor.

“Our solutions are used across all 3D printer technologies for both high-volume parts production or one-off prototypes,” said Bourguet. “Following on our market success in North America, we are now eager to respond to the growing customer demands in Europe.”

PostProcess’ technology solutions will debut at formnext in Frankfurt, Germany on November 13-16, where live demos will be available in Booth 3.0-H68.
