MADRID, Spain, Nov 16, 2018 – The chairman of engineering and technology SENER , Jorge Sendagorta, has been awarded the medal of Member of Honor, awarded by the Institute of Engineering of Spain, in his own words, “engineering professionals who have contributed to the advancement of society through their works and projects”. Jorge Sendagorta received the medal on Tuesday November 13 at a ceremony held in the auditorium of the Institute of Engineering of Spain (IIE) in Madrid, from the president of this institution, Carlos del Álamo Jiménez, after a laudatio by the former president of IIE, Manuel Moreu. Along with Jorge Sendagorta, he was given the medal Honorary Member President of Iberdrola, Ignacio Sánchez Galán.

Engineering Institute of Spain has decided to grant this award to Jorge Sendagorta a proposal from the Association of Naval Architects and Ocean, for his career. As indicated by the institution itself: ” It is a reward to the engineer, but certainly also developed from SENER engineering, which is a spearhead of the Spanish engineering worldwide and the most innovative sectors.”
