Dr. Hilding Elmqvist Joins Modelon as Technical Fellow

on part-time basis

ModelonGmbH_logoLUND, Sweden, Mar 9, 2017 – Modelon, the premier provider of Modelica solutions for model based systems design, announced that Dr. Hilding Elmqvist, the father of the Modelica open standard and the creator of the simulation tool Dymola, is joining Modelon as a technical fellow on a part-time basis. Dr. Elmqvist has been part of Modelon’s success story since the start, as a co-founder of the company, and as a board member. With his retirement from other engagements Dr. Elmqvist is now takingan active leadership role in Modelon product R&D. In this role, he will further strengthen Modelon’s position as fore-runners of systems modeling and simulation software.
