The aim for entrants is to create a 3D Christmas tree using as many of the freely-available parts on the TraceParts CAD content platform as possible with the CAD software or image retouching program of their choice.
Over 100 million parts are available from close to 700 catalogs!
Participants must send a screen shot of their Christmas tree before December 21, 2018 to the following address: contest@traceparts.com. The size of the file should not exceed 1 Mb.
The three winning entries will be picked from the most original and successful creations, which will subsequently be displayed on the website:www.traceparts.com.
The prizes up for grabs include a OnePlus 5T 6 GB for first place, a Bose QuietComfort 35 II for second place and a Samsung New Gear 360 Reference R210 for third place.
All the 3D files available on the TraceParts CAD-content platform are compatible with the most popular native CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER & Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, TopSolid, Geomagic Design, Kompas 3D, SpaceClaim, SketchUp, Autodesk REVIT, ZW3D, Draftsight, HiCAD, TurboCAD, T-FLEX, SolidFace, Elecworks, Gstarcad, IronCAD, MagicPart, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, DesignSpark Mechanical and DesignSpark Electrical.
