FRISCO, TX, Dec 23, 2020 – Sconce, Inc. subsidiary OmniDTS LLC, a reseller and implementation partner for PROCAD’s PRO.FILE software, has acquired the assets of Procad USA Inc. The acquisition is effective December 15, 2020. OmniDTS will take over all Procad USA’s customer accounts, maintenance, and services.
Based in Burnet, TX, Procad USA is a PRO.FILE solutions partner and Epicor Alliance partner and has been providing PLM solutions since 2002. Procad USA staff members will join the OmniDTS team to continue serving their customer base. Philip Thurman, President of Procad USA, will remain as strategic advisor to OmniDTS during the transition.
OmniDTS specializes in the sale, implementation, and support of PRO.FILE PDM/PLM applications from German software developer PROCAD GmbH & Co. KG as well as the EpicorPLM solution. OmniDTS is wholly owned by Sconce, Inc., which combines PLM, IoT, and Industry 4.0 software and services for the engineering and manufacturing industries.
PROCAD GmbH, which is not affiliated with Procad USA, has partnered with leading ERP company Epicor Software Corporation to provide EpicorPLM – Powered by PROCAD as the official PLM System for Epicor ERP customers. EpicorPLM is a PLM system specifically designed to be integrated with Epicor ERP, giving companies a seamless interaction across all engineering, manufacturing, and service departments and processes. With this acquisition of Procad USA, OmniDTS is reinforcing its dedication to alliances with both PROCAD and Epicor and becomes the exclusive North American partner for the PRO.FILE and EpicorPLM products.
