Innovyze Enhances InfoNet Executive Suite Edition for EAM

Innovyze_LogoBROOMFIELD, CO, Nov 4, 2015 – Innovyze, a leading global innovator of business analytics software and technologies for smart wet infrastructure, expanded its industry-leading InfoNet Executive Suite for fully customized and effective enterprise asset management (EAM) program development. Available as a complete product or an upgrade to the industry-leading InfoNet or InfoNet Suite Desktop edition, the expanded Executive Suite extension dramatically expands asset management possibilities for public works, utilities and municipalities of all sizes as well as their consultants and contractors. Solutions are fully tailored to their unique requirements and have the unique ability to allow them to analyze their assets using both historical and real-time network performance data. The Executive Suite is now available via three targeted products: InfoNet Suite, InfoNet Exchange, and InfoNet TSDB.

The overarching goal of InfoNet Suite is to get more from existing assets. It enables users to create records for any water- or non-water-related assets in their networks and then effectively manage, integrate, validate, analyze, and report on them. Assets can include roads, signs, benches, schools, buildings, parks and recreation areas, trees, treatment plants, tanks, and pumps as well as water, wastewater and stormwater networks. Users gain in-depth view and control of all critical assets that affect regulatory compliance, risk and business performance. The Suite’s powerful modeling capabilities also help users prolong the useful lives of their physical assets and improve their performance and operational efficiency at maximum savings. All common InfoNet tools can be used with the assets, including data flags, version control, rich thematic maps and SQL analysis.

InfoNet Suite arms users with sophisticated predictive analytics and modeling capabilities, helping them accurately assess the level of asset deterioration and determine both its likelihood and consequence of failure. This critical information facilitates a proactive approach to identifying and managing these high-risk assets to help preserve their integrity and keep them operating well into the future. It also eliminates reactive maintenance — waiting for asset failures to occur before repairing. Users can create reliable, cost-effective, risk-based capital improvement plans that enhance operational efficiency and quality of service and keep assets performing at peak condition while making the most of limited budgets.

InfoNet Exchange provides scripting language that allows automation of data interchange operations with external information systems to suit enterprise application-specific needs. Having access to this tailored functionality right out of the box streamlines the creation of independent applications and custom interfaces that enable users to view, exchange, modify and synchronize data for various enterprise data management and analysis applications. Armed with these capabilities, consultants and utilities can adapt the input and output from their InfoNet projects into a fully automated process that increases efficiencies. They can also design custom data analytics and tailor projects to their specific needs in new and better ways.

The inclusion of the time series database (TSDB) functionality in InfoNet Executive Suite provides users with the ability to directly analyze asset data in conjunction with both historical and real-time network performance data. This facilitates more detailed analyses of a network, enabling the review of known asset and survey data alongside time series information relating to the asset for a more complete network view. InfoNet allows users to import and analyze a wide range of assets, both those specific to the water industry as well as user defined asset types. Combining time series data with asset data empowers engineers to better understand network performance and provides valuable analysis capabilities when identifying planned maintenance programs or reacting to reported incidents.

The new TSDB functionality within InfoNet Executive Suite now allows users to connect directly to time-series database, associate data feeds to specific assets and review the time series data graphically. These capabilities can be further enhanced when InfoNet is used in conjunction with Innovyze Infinity System. Rather than linking an asset to a local TSDB, users can also connect it to an Infinity System data stream, allowing them to seamlessly switch between InfoNet and Infinity System’s real time web-based data analytics for a complete data analysis solution.

This unique combination of powerful tools supports well-informed, swift, cost-effective and action-oriented decision making for both day-to-day operational management and long-term network planning. To gain the clearest possible picture of their network infrastructures, users can integrate a host of applications and data sets they already use, including generic GIS, corporate databases, maintenance management systems, field data systems, SCADA, hydraulic modeling/analysis software and other corporate applications. The software can also directly integrate with the powerful Esri (Redlands, CA) ArcGIS (9.x-10.x) platform.

The comprehensive nature of InfoNet Executive Suite supports the industry’s increasingly widespread adoption of GIS, modeling technology and predictive analytics, propelling its applications into the next generation. It also furthers Innovyze’s time-honored practice of continually adding value to its software and bringing unmatched asset modeling and management capabilities, backed by unsurpassed technical support, into the mainstream.

“Organizations worldwide face the constant challenge of sustaining their assets with limited resources,” said Mark Ellis, client service manager for Innovyze. “The new expanded InfoNet Executive Suite delivers critical capabilities for meeting that challenge. In particular, it lets users quickly identify under-utilized and poorly performing assets that require immediate attention. The software’s comprehensive asset management, advanced analytics and time-series data collection and analysis capabilities make it easy for organizations to create customized applications using in-house resources. They also empower users to better assess and understand current conditions, predict and fix problems before they occur, prioritize investments, assess return on investment for smarter decisions, and strengthen their infrastructure assets in a phased manner. The Suite also delivers invaluable aids in reducing operational and capital spending, meeting service expectations and regulatory requirements, and putting their assets on the road to sustainability.”

“Our expanded executive suite reflects Innovyze’s commitment to continuous product evolution designed to meet the ever-changing needs of our industry,” added Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D., BCEEM, Hon.D.WRE, Dist.D.NE, Dist.M.ASCE, NAE, president, COO and chief technical officer of Innovyze. “Our customers count on this commitment to help make their organizations the best-run in the world. We are proud to introduce this powerful expanded solution, knowing it will make an immediate difference in people’s lives, our communities, and our society.”
