CHESHIRE, UK, June 12, 2015 – Michael Ewing, son of Virtalis’ VP North American Operations, has just completed his training in the UK and is ready to begin his new role of US business development manager.

A graduate in Organizational Communications with a minor in Marketing, Michael is, like many Virtalis staff, a keen gamer. “I had learnt a surprising amount about VR through gaming and was an early adopter of the Oculus Rift, so being able to work in the field is a dream come true,” said Michael. “I am looking forward to joining the Virtalis team in the US, where I’ll be based in Dayton, Ohio.”

Sales director, Steve Carpenter, commented: “Michael will be focusing initially on the academic sector and, now his training is complete, we are developing a detailed campaign to offer our ActiveWorks systems and a portfolio of software including Visionary Render. This is a vast sector in the US and has been, until now, an untapped market for us. Michael’s previous job was in software sales for a communications company, so I am confident he can hit the ground running.”
