These products, along with KeyCreator Direct CAD, employ Kubotek’s pioneering direct modeling technology so that users can work with any CAD file, regardless of who or what created it. The newest product releases feature up-to-date files readers and lowered list prices.
The ability to view dozens of design file formats makes the low-cost Kubotek Spectrum CAD Viewer software extremely popular. Available at three different price points, Kubotek Spectrum Viewers can easily meet the needs of manufacturers big and small.
For users who only need to view KeyCreator file formats, Spectrum KeyCreator is available as a free download.
For a little more versatility, Spectrum Viewer is the budget-conscious choice at only $99. Spectrum Viewer can be used to view KeyCreator, legacy CADKEY and eight (8) neutral formats, including STEP, IGES, DXF/DWG and 3D PDF. The Spectrum CADKEY product previously used for viewing only KeyCreator and legacy CADKEY files has been discontinued. Users who need to view CADKEY files will be able to view them via Spectrum Viewer or with the newly reconfigured Spectrum Premium.
Spectrum Premium is the most powerful of the new Spectrum product configurations. Users can view KeyCreator, CADKEY, neutral formats, as well as over two dozen native CAD files and product manufacturing information (PMI). CATIA V5, previously purchased as a separate add-on to Spectrum, is now included in Spectrum Premium. Newly added in Spectrum Premium are file readers for Solid Edge and JT. An option to view 2D/Drawing formats is also available. Spectrum Premium can be purchased for a mere $299.

The CAD data validation software verifies against a master design file that each file iteration using in manufacturing has not been unintentionally altered. Users have the ability to read and validate neutral formats, 3D native file formats, PMI and optional 2D/Drawing files, as well as newly added 3D PDF BREP data. Plus, with the only geometric face recognition technology available for CAD validation purposes, users have a distinct edge in data quality.
ECO Manager also includes the newest file reading offerings and lower prices for manufacturers who are concerned with 3D design data quality in the design-to-manufacture workflow. This CAD comparison software is used to compare two CAD models, regardless of file type, to uncover differences in product geometry, model based definition (MBD) or product manufacturing information (PMI) found within the 3D model. Users can then easily document and communicate any changes and/or revisions via PowerPoint and 3D PDF reports throughout the manufacturing workflow.
