Centric Software Opens Office in Mexico City

Leveraging the success with women’s clothing brand STF Group S.A. and urban clothing retailer Quest, both based in Colombia, Centric Software plans to develop a market throughout Latin America. Centric’s Mexico City office, in the heart of the fashionable Roma-Condesa district, joins its worldwide offices in California, New York, London, Milan, Paris, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Shanghai.

Centric will support the fashion industry in Latin America with intuitive, easy-to-use, web- and mobile-based PLM software that provides “single version of the truth” solutions for planning lines, global sourcing, calendar management, materials, quality, collections, technical design, and continuous improvement of retail sales execution. Centric’s PLM mobile applications, which are the first to be developed in the sector, keep product teams connected at all times to aid development.

“It’s a great opportunity for Mexican companies, and Latin American companies in general, to reduce development costs, increase margins, and arrive before anyone else on the market,” said Germán Elizondo, Centric Software’s territory sales manager for Latin America. “These companies can now compete with the giants of the fashion industry worldwide. PLM processes in this industry are complex and above all very fast, which increases the level of difficulty in controlling their operations.”

Jose Alvarez, Centric’s technical director for Latin America adds, “It will be of great benefit to the fashion industry in Latin America to have the power to implement a PLM high-level solution in less than six months, compared to traditional implementations that normally take more than one year, thanks to our Agile Deployment methodology. Centric 8 is easy to use, allowing users to adopt our solution very quickly and without resistance to change, providing significant financial benefits.”

“We are very excited to announce the opening of our operations in Latin America and we are looking forward to working with Latin American companies that are searching for a PLM solution to help them be more competitive,” said Chris Groves, CEO of Centric Software. “Building on recent additions to our customer base in countries in the region, our experienced team in Mexico will develop relationships with companies that need a sophisticated and flexible PLM solution for their specific products and needs.”
