NEW YORK, NY, Jan 10, 2023 – Global Knowledge Solutions (GKS), a for-profit subsidiary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), announced the appointment of Martin Collinson as president of Techstreet, one of the fastest growing distributors of technical standards and a technology hub for engineers. Most recently, Collinson was managing director of sales and customer service for ASME. In his new role with Techstreet, he reports to GKS chief executive officer Michael Klinger, who has served as interim president of Techstreet since March 2021.

Collinson is an experienced sales leader with extensive general management experience in global organizations. Prior to joining ASME, he was vice president of strategic accounts for O’Reilly Media headquartered in Sebastopol, Calif., and was part of the management team that organically grew their learning platform into a $100 million annual recurring revenue business. Previously, he was vice president of international sales for Safari Books Online, a joint venture of O’Reilly Media and Pearson based in England, where he led all sales and customer support outside of North America.
