Hexagon AB announced the PPM division’s name has changed to Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division to more accurately represent Hexagon’s evolving offerings in the market via recent acquisitions.
The new division name was unveiled during a press conference at the 26th annual ARC Advisory Group Industry Forum at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, FL, USA.
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division strives to achieve ambitious growth plans through both judiciously targeted acquisitions and steady research & development investments.
The new division name is a natural reflection of the expanded portfolio following recent acquisitions, most notably the addition of HxGN EAM (formerly Infor EAM), now part of Hexagon’s solution suite that helps digitize and optimize maintenance operations to reach optimum operational efficiency throughout the asset lifecycle. Other key additions to Hexagon’s comprehensive and increasingly diverse portfolio during the past 18 months include PAS Global (industrial control system cybersecurity), Jovix (material tracking software for construction) and Innovatia Accelerator Inc. (SaaS-based digitalization solutions that transform operations and modernize fieldwork in the manufacturing and process industries).
The Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division’s current website, hexagonppm.com, will remain intact for the time being.
