Woolpert Appoints Emily Herndon as Sr Consultant

CHARLOTTE, NC, Sep 4, 2018 – Emily Herndon, LEED AP, has been hired by Woolpert as a senior consultant for the firm’s newly developed Strategic Consulting group. Herndon has more than 17 years of experience helping clients develop and implement strategic asset management programs with an emphasis on energy and sustainability.  At Woolpert, Herndon will focus on growing the firm’s presence in the Water and Energy markets.

Herndon will work under Eric Dillinger, who was recently hired as the group’s vice president and managing director. Dillinger said Herndon is well suited for this high-profile role at a firm poised for accelerated growth.

“Woolpert has established a solid foundation in architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) leadership and execution, and is heavily invested in as research and development,” Dillinger said. “Emily’s vast experience will provide the support needed for clients to achieve and surpass their goals, and to expand the firm’s presence in that arena. We’re excited to have her on board.”

Herndon, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, lauded Woolpert’s vision and structure.

“I was drawn to Woolpert because of its size and flexibility, and because the people were so friendly and willing to help,” Herndon said. “Our new Strategic Consulting group will position the firm to reach clients it might not have had access to in the past by engaging them earlier in the project life cycle. It’s a good time to be at Woolpert.”
