US CAD Appoints Troy Gates as Solutions, Technology Consultant

NEWPORT BEACH, CA, Oct 10, 2017 – US CAD, a building information modeling (BIM) solutions consultant and Autodesk platinum partner, announces the appointment of Troy Gates to the role of Solutions and Technology Consultant.

Troy Gates joins US CAD with more than 20 years of technical experience in the AEC industry. Prior to joining US CAD, Mr. Gates served as the director of Design Technology at KTGY Group in Irvine, California where he was an integral part of the technology advancement for over 400 employees in seven offices. Mr. Gates has successfully implemented a large variety of time-saving, productive solutions such as Panzura, Revit, Revit Server, as well as developing BIM standards and implementation strategies. Prior to KTGY, Mr. Gates worked for Mazzetti, a 180-employee MEP firm, and provided BIM implementation, LOD documentation, and authored BIM standards and processes for teams across nine offices.
