NEWPORT BEACH, CA, Apr 29, 2015 – US CAD, a building information modeling (BIM) solutions consultant and Autodesk platinum partner, has strengthened its technical and technology consulting capabilities with the appointment of James Lord to the role of solutions consultant.

James Lord joins US CAD with more than 12 years of civil infrastructure industry experience. Prior to joining US CAD, Mr. Lord served in several BIM manager and specialist roles at KPFF, where he was responsible for the pioneering, testing, evaluation, and deployment of CAD standards and BIM modeling practices for his entire team. Mr. Lord also leveraged his industry and software expertise to provide mentoring and training, software management and customization, and the supervision and maintenance of software templates.
