Tungaloy is adding a new JXPG20R/L style insert to its popular parting-off line, DuoJust-Cut, enabling cut off diameters of up to 20 mm or 0.8″ on Swiss lathes.

Thanks to its unique insert clamping system, DuoJust-Cut provides secure insert fixation and machining stability throughout parting-off operations on Swiss lathes. This expansion extends the maximum parting-off diameter to 20 mm, enhancing the existing range of 6 mm, 12 mm, and 16 mm.

All 4 types of inserts fit the same DuoJust-Cut holder, allowing the use of an optimal insert overhang for maximum parting-off efficiency. Holders for sub-spindle machines are also available as standard, while the DirectTungJet holder system enables internal coolant supply directly from the tool post, eliminating the need for external coolant tube setup.
