Starting from March the 3D printable models available at Threeding.com will be not only downloadable but ready to order as 3D printed copies. Thereby, Threeding expands its offering and targets customers who do not possess a 3D printer but are interested in the marketplace’s products.
From March onwards, thousands of models available at Threeding.com will become available not only for download, but also for sale as printed copies. So far Threeding’s customers needed to have access to a 3D printer in order to make use of the files they downloaded from the marketplace. Now most items can be ordered as printed copies and will be shipped world-wide. Sculpteo, a worldwide operating and leading 3D printing service company will execute the printing process in their facilities in USA and France. Threeding’s customers can choose between 6 materials and over 40 different colors, which gives them an enormous variety for individualization of the purchased products. Whether customers want to have printed a bracelet made of sterling silver, a ceramic coffee mug or a multicolor dinosaur, all of it becomes available with the partnership service of Threeding and Sculpteo.

Designers with concerns about their copyrights will have options to restrict download and let their models available only for physical delivery. The company will start accepting bank transfers for order above $100, Paypal Express Checkout, better visualization, etc.
