Theorem Ships CADverter v17.2 for Siemens NX 9, JT

TheoremSolutions_logoSTAFFORDSHIRE, UK, Oct 15, 2014 – Theorem Solutions announced availability with immediate effect of its latest CADverter v17.2 for Siemens NX 9 with translation capabilities for both new and legacy NX Data.

With the ability to translate earlier versions of NX data, from 7.5 through to the latest NX 9, along with NX parts as far back as Version UGNX11.0, the new NX 9 CADverter ensures that both current and legacy data can be translated with just a single application.

Available under version 17.2 of Theorem’s CADverter product portfolio are the latest Publish 3D suite of products for NX 9 and JT which support all versions of the JT file format are supported from Version 6.0 to Version 9.5 which is the ISO Standard 14306:2012 version of JT. Theorem’s popular Multi-CAD plugin solutions and class-leading traditional uni and bi-directional CADverters include:

  • NX 9 and JT CADverters to/from CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24)
  • NX 9 and JT CADverters to/from 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (R2014x) formerly CATIA V6
  • NX 9 and JT CADverters to/from PTC’s Creo Parametric 2.0
  • NX 9 and JT for 3DVIA Composer, CADDS, CATIA V4, ICEM SurfDB and SOLIDWORKS are also available under this latest release.

Theorem’s Publish 3D suite of products for NX 9 and JT – Publish 3D Interactive, Publish 3D On Demand and Publish 3D Automated, allow companies to easily create and share PDF documentation containing embedded interactive 3D data published directly from NX and JT data. Published interactive 3D models contained within a standard PDF document can then be viewed and interrogated. Components within assemblies can be turned on and off, shaded and rendered for technical authoring and viewed as either a solid, wireframe or even cross-sectioned, all using the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Theorem Multi-CAD solutions for Siemens NX and JT are aimed at users needing to work in a Multi-CAD environment with CATIA users but without the need for external translation. Native data can be inserted into a Multi-CAD environment, keeping full associativity in CATIA – updating the native NX and JT data when changes are made. CADverter 17.2 also supports the JT and NX Multi-CAD CADverter for (CATIA V6) 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (R2014x).

CADverter version 17.2’s latest capabilities underline Theorem’s strategic partnerships with the major PLM system suppliers. These relationships ensure that Theorem is ideally placed to mirror the development and release programs of all leading design and PLM systems and allows them to respond quickly to changing market requirements. It also capitalizes on their authorized development of ‘right first time’ products for deployment as soon as users implement the latest NX upgrade.

The latest CADverter will be available on request to customers with a current maintenance agreement, or to other users on attractive upgrade terms.
