Speakers Announced for 17th FLOW-3D European Users Conf

SANTA FE, NM, May 8, 2017 – Flow Science, Inc. has announced the speakers for its 17th annual FLOW-3D European Users Conference on June 5-7, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain at the Avenida Palace Hotel. The conference will be co-hosted by Simulaciones y Proyectos, the official distributor of FLOW-3D products in Spain and Portugal.

Flow Science customers who use the FLOW-3D product suite as the basis for exciting and innovative research and development will present and discuss their work, including topics such as fuel tank dynamics for both automotive and aerospace applications, lost foam casting, environmental modeling, and cutting-edge research in microfluidics applications. Speakers from Fiat Chrysler Automotive, Roche Diagnostics, Arcadis Netherlands, Mott MacDonald and Nemak Monterrey as well as a variety of leading research institutions, such as Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen and FH Aachen, are part of a diverse lineup of presenters. In addition to the work presented by customers, Flow Science representatives will present current and upcoming developments for the software.

Advanced Training

Flow Science will offer a half day training course devoted to optimizing simulation time and accuracy using the various numerical options that are available in our software packages. This training is included with the conference registration and will cover what the best numerical options would be for a wide range of applications. This course will be taught by Dr. Michael Barkhudarov, VP of R&D, and Dr. Ioannis Karampelas, CFD technical support engineer.
