Solidscape Base to be Unveiled at Euromold

solidscape_homelogo_1MERRIMACK, NH, Nov 24, 2014 – The leading manufacturer of high precision 3D printers, Solidscape, Inc., will unveil the Solidscape Base at the Euromold Tradeshow in Frankfurt, Germany, Nov 25-28, booth B111 in hall 11. Solidscape will also demonstrate two new software programs that enable users to operate printers remotely as well as through a mobile device. Both programs are scheduled to launch in 2015.

A missing piece to the 3D workflow puzzle, the Solidscape Base offers an all-in-one solution that improves efficiency and streamlines the 3D printing experience. Perfect for any Solidscape 3Z series printers, as well as next generation technology, the Base encloses and supports items needed to run a Solidscape printer.

Features include:

  • Cabinet: With ergonomic height, interior storage for tools, build plates, etc., the cabinet provides an enclosure to protect and organize printing materials.
  • Quatro Dust Collector: Comes with a 12-month warranty, the clean room-class dust collector provides improved reliability with a large capacity, anti-microbial bag that’s easy to use and requires infrequent changes.
  • Voltage Input/Line Regulator: For steady performance and longer shelf life, the line regulator will protect sensitive electronic equipment by preventing voltage fluctuations and electrical surges.

“Solidscape is excited to launch a suite of innovative tools that streamline the 3D printing process with ease of use and remote access, allowing users to print anytime, anywhere,” said Fabio Esposito, Solidscape President. “Solidscape prides itself on being on the forefront of 3D printing technologies, and we continue to look to the future as we map out new products and services.”

Solidscape’s Smooth Curvature Printing with wax provides micro-precision parts featuring complex geometries that are 100 percent castable. When it comes to creating prototypes, Solidscape’s lost wax casting process allows users to reproduce layers as fine as six microns every time.

Released earlier this year, Solidscape’s MAX2 is a fully automated printer with an easy-to-operate touch screen that allows any skill level to effectively produce high-precision wax patterns. With higher throughput and increased productivity gains, Solidscape delivers 3D solutions for advanced manufacturing so customers can create wax patterns to be cast in metal or used for mold making (RTV) applications, ideal for industries such as aerospace, consumer products, education, and defense, industrial products, jewelry, medical and dental as well as manufacturing.
