The SmartCAM CAM software family consists of applications for computer-numerical control (CNC) milling, turning, fabrication and wire EDM. Its toolpath modeling concept delivers an approach to toolpath generation that is uniquely different to every other CAM system on the market.
Whilst selling direct in North America, the company uses an authorized reseller partner business model to deliver its SmartCAM software system outside of the USA.
SmartCAMcnc currently has opportunities for appropriately-skilled and experienced businesses or individuals to add an established, productive and flexible CAM solution to their manufacturing product offerings.
“While we would like our reseller partners to exclusively offer SmartCAM to their regions we understand the reality; SmartCAM can successfully be offered as a complementary product alongside other CADCAM products. We have examples amongst our existing sales partners where that works well, where SmartCAM is deemed to be more appropriate for addressing some applications needs than a partner’s other CAM products.” observed Terry Antrobus, SmartCAMcnc international business manager.
“We have successfully appointed new SmartCAM reseller partners in recent years,” continued Terry, “and we want to accelerate that growth by identifying sales partners in a number of strategic manufacturing regions. We have identified a need for additional partners in some of the territories that we have existing representation, but there are also markets that have been unexplored for SmartCAM and where we do not have an active reseller. Opportunities exist in Germany, China, Russia, Spain, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, for example, but our scope is by no means limited to those countries.”
