About the Founders
SkyCiv was founded by recent University of New South Wales Engineering graduates Sam Carigliano and Paul Comino. They started working on the project in their final year at University and officially branded and released the product in February 2015. Sam and Paul saw a gap in the market for an online structural analysis software after experiencing the inconveniences of traditional engineering software such as installing huge programs, not being able to use it on every device, losing USBs and files, and reinstalling upgrades. Due to these recurring issues, they created SkyCiv to minimize the complexity of existing engineering model and design software at a cost effective price.
