SimgaTEK’s Khartika Phadke Wins ‘Women of Influence’ Award

CINCINNATI, OH, Oct 9, 2017 – Lead Magazine, a Cincinnati magazine for business executives, has named SigmaTEK Senior Software Developer, Khartika Phadke, as one of Lead’s 2017 Women of Influence. This prestigious award honors the region’s leading women who have helped shape the success of their company and demonstrated leadership. Phadke will be recognized for this achievement at a luncheon on November 8 at The Manor House in Mason, OH

Khartika serves as a senior software developer on the SigmaNEST User Interface and User Experience team at SigmaTEK Systems. As Scrum Master of the team, she provides leadership and assistance to ongoing development work, participates in technical design meetings and creates user interface designs based on functional requirements. Phadke has an Engineering Degree and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and excels in an industry underrepresented by women, making her influential not only to SigmaTEK but to the industry in general.

Phadke is passionate about working in the manufacturing software industry. “The CAD/CAM industry is great if you want to work on building innovative solutions to challenging real-time manufacturing problems. It can be challenging but also fun and rewarding,” says Phadke. She is thrilled to accept the Women of Influence Award.
