Triaxial Charge Accelerometer

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. announces the release of a triaxial charge accelerometer designed for use in environments with ambient temperatures up to 900 °F/482 °C. Model EX356A73 is certified as intrinsically safe through the ATEX, CSA and IECEx programs. It is ideal for use in aviation/power generation turbine research & development, nuclear power plant commissioning and vehicle exhaust NVH applications.

The product features a frequency range (up to 4,000 Hz with a ±5% tolerance) packaged in a nickel alloy, hermetically sealed housing with three 10-32 coaxial jacks. The model also utilizes a UHT-12 sensing element.

IMI offers various charge amplifiers to support the launch of Model EX356A73, including Models 422E35, 422E36, 422E38, 422E65/A and 422E66/A.
