Once attached, the documents can be archived, searched for and retrieved instantly, whenever required.

When you manipulate the model and hover over any object, a pop-up box will appear showing all documents that are associated. The documents can be of any type and from any source.

There are many applications for VCAM, ranging from commissioning and turnover between the General Contractor and the Owner, to use by the Design Team to attach project design data, ranging from equipment specification sheets to installation instructions, warranty information or even operational data. In addition to serving as a digital data repository, VCAM also allows the end-user to schedule activities related to model objects, location or dates. These might include inspections, planned maintenance or upcoming projects.

VCAM 2015 delivers a very tangible Return on Investment (ROI), as it makes it possible to deliver a federated model with all associated documentation directly to the project owner, eliminating the need to collect, track and deliver countless paper documents and file boxes.
