ODA Releases Teigha BIM 2019

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, June 21, 2018 – Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the release of version 2019 of Teigha BIM, its SDK for Autodesk Revit files. Version 2019 is the first release to use ODA’s new year-based version numbers.

Version 2019 improves visualization fidelity by adding support for view-specific element graphics. Enhancements were also made to the support for built-in parameters.

“Along with our visualization improvements, we are continuing work on creation support for parametric elements such as walls and doors,” commented Neil Peterson, ODA president. “When finished, this technology will allow members to create Revit files containing complex parametric elements from any application on any platform.

“Our BIM technology is developed by a member-driven, member-funded Special Interest Group (SIG) within ODA. SIGs are operated at cost as a service to the industry. As we get new BIM licensees, we hire additional developers and the pace of our development increases—it’s a unique and solid business model for this type of complex interoperability problem.”
