ODA Releases BimNv SDK 2020

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 10, 2019 – Open Design Alliance (ODA), leading provider of CAD interoperability and component technology, announced the release of BimNv SDK 2020. BimNv is the industry’s first independent, cross-platform toolkit for working with Autodesk Navisworks files.

“Visualization quality of Navisworks files is much improved in version 2020,” commented Neil Peterson, ODA president. “We now support materials, advanced textures, light types, and complex backgrounds. In addition, new partial loading support gives faster visualization for large files.

“ODA provides flexibility for developers. In addition to working with Navisworks file data, we provide a complete toolset that includes professional visualization, clash detection, cutting planes and other useful features for AEC. And as a not-for-profit, our licensing model is among the best in the industry.”

BimNv is developed by a Special Interest Group within ODA. A free 60-day trial version is available for download at www.opendesign.com.
