Moticont has added high force voice coil motors to its GVCM family of voice coil motors with an internal shaft and bearing. The three linear voice coil motors in the GVCM-095-089 series features the same housing measuring 3.5 in. (88.9 mm) long by 3.750 in. (95.3 mm) dia. and the same threaded mounting holes for integration into new and existing applications.
The GVCM-095-089-01 features a 2.50 inch (63.5 mm) stroke and a continuous force of 25.0 lbs (111.2 N) and 79.0 lbs (351.3 N) of peak force at a 10% duty cycle. The GVCM-095-089-02 features a 1.00 inch (25.4 mm) stroke and a continuous force of 58.0 lbs (257.7 N) and 183.1 lbs (814.5 N) of peak force at a 10% duty cycle, and the GVCM-095-089-03 features a 0.50 inch (12.7 mm) stroke and a continuous force of 63.9 lbs (284.1 N) and 202.0 lbs (898.4 N) of peak force at a 10% duty cycle.
Each motor is guided by a plain bearing that permits side loads up to 3 lb (13.5 N). The precision ground 0.236 inch (6.0 mm) diameter shaft has an internal thread.
