MecSoft Releases Rhino3DPRINT 2016

Rhino3DPRINT 2016 is a fully integrated plug-in that runs inside Rhinoceros 5.0 that offers easy and efficient automatic tools for preparing 3D data that could not otherwise be 3D printed.

Some of the enhanced features inside Rhino3DPRINT 2016 are:

  • Support Generation for holding up areas that have overhangs
  • Determination of best orientation of geometry for printing
  • Generate nozzle deposition patterns and associated G-code to drive FDM printers
  • Ability to cycle through holes in a mesh and manually fix them
  • Intersect & Splitting two sets of meshes
  • Ability to select & manipulate selected portions of a mesh using a graphical manipulator
