WATERLOO & TORONTO, Canada, June 19, 2015 – Maplesoft and The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences have entered into a partnership that is aimed at promoting the study and use of math in education, research and industry. As part of the partnership, Maplesoft will become a corporate affiliate of the Fields Institute; donate its mathematical computation tool, Maple, to outfit every computer at their facility; and collaborate on events and workshops which will examine the use of the internet, computational tools and other technology and tools to enhance the quality of math education.
