RUNCORN, UK, Nov 13, 2015 – LPW are delighted to announce their success at becoming winners of Business of the Year 2015 at the prestigious Manchester Evening News Business Awards. A glittering awards ceremony was held at Manchester’s Midland Hotel where more than 350 guests and prominent business leaders turned out to discover who had been triumphant.
LPW are global market leaders in developing and supplying metal powder, software, and equipment to users of industrial 3D printing machines. The resulting components are used for aircraft engines, implants for people, and parts for Formula 1 cars.
Judges were impressed with the forward thinking, innovative nature of the company and the huge potential for further growth, as well as LPWs socially responsible ethos and culture.
The awards, which marked their 22nd anniversary, were hosted by Nicholas Owen and winners came from diverse industry sectors including technology, fashion and food.
Multi award winning LPW beat stiff competition from the regions finest businesses following a rigorous selection process, including onsite filming, and a Dragons Den style interview.
This is the second award that LPW have won in 2015 after Managing Director, Dr Phil Carroll, won Entrepreneur of the Year at a regional Business Award earlier this year.
