Laufen Launches Sanitary Ware as BIM Objects

bimobject_logoMALMÖ, Sweden, Mar 10, 2015 – Laufen, one of the world leaders in the production of sanitary ware, now launches their product range Kartell by Laufen as BIM objects. The new BIM objects extend the range of selectable sanitary products with a high design factor, something that will attract even more BIM users to the BIMobject Cloud. Meeting the aesthetic preference of BIM users is highly appreciated and therefore a strategic step for BIMobject when consolidating the leading role as a BIM provider.

The Swiss company Laufen stands for Swissness, quality and design and has been a reputable performer on the market for more than 120 years.

The product range Kartell by Laufen is an integrated and complete bathroom project, based on the cooperation of the Italian company Kartell and the Swiss company Laufen. A co-designed project nurtured by the intense dialogue between the enlightened customer on the one hand and the award winning designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba on the other, who have earned themselves the merit of having reinvented the concept of the bathroom.

The BIM objects can be downloaded free of charge and are available for both Revit and ArchiCAD: http://bimobject.com/product/?manufacturer=laufen

This is a new batch of products delivered in the global frame agreement between Roca Group and BIMobject. Laufen became a part of Roca Group in 1999 and the Roca Group is one of the largest bathroom manufacturers in the world with more than 16,000 employees.
