KEMP, TX, Nov 5, 2018 – Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, released a non-fused explosion proof disconnect switch for Class I and Class II Division 1 and 2 environments. This 15-amp rated copper-free disconnect switch is compatible with 600V AC and features a 6-pole configuration and provides overcurrent and short circuit protection.
This 600V rated explosion proof disconnect switch has a 6-Pole configuration and features one cast 2″ conduit hub on the top and one cast 0.5″ conduit hub on the bottom.
The EPNFDS-15A-6P-ACX.2 from Larson Electronics is a Class I, Division 1 and 2, Class I Zone 1 and 2, Class II Division 1 and 2, Class IIIexplosion proof disconnect switch, which provides operators in hazardous environments a safe and reliable way to manage electrical circuits and power. This disconnect switch is non-fused and rated at 15 amps with 600 volts AC compatibility. This switch features an internal circuit breaker handle mechanism that has a sliding plate type mounted to the cover. The circuit breaker is trip free of the external handle.
The EPNFDS-15A-6P-ACX.2 is constructed of copper-free aluminum and has a NEMA 4X enclosure. To secure the internal components of the enclosure, the exterior features a bolted cover with an on/off lever that can be locked in the “off” position with room for three padlocks.
Two sets of auxiliary contacts – two normally open and two normally closed – which are equipped with lower power ratings but change state with the main contacts.
