Larson Releases EXP-SNR-TG-EC-ITS-ALG-RS.6-HC200 Gas Sensor

Larson Electronics announced the release of an explosion proof hydrocarbon gas sensor rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This toxic gas transmitter is equipped with a remote sensor that offers operators a sensor response testing system for hazardous locations. This unit is fitted with a hydrocarbon sensor that detects 0-200 ppm and is made with a cast aluminum housing.

The EXP-SNR-TG-EC-ITS-ALG-RS.6-HC200 explosion proof hydrocarbon gas sensor is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, and D hazardous locations. This sensor is configured to detect hydrocarbon vapors of methane, butane, propane, or pentane within a 0-200 ppm concentration and includes an electrochemical transmitter, integral sensor holder and non-digital output. This unit features an LCD display showing gas concentration, alarm indication and menus to set up operating parameters.

Larson Electronics’ explosion proof hydrocarbon gas sensor features a backlight for use when 3-wire mode is used and an internal data logger that stores measured gas values. This unit features a six-foot cord between the meter and sensor that allows operators to mount the sensor remotely. This gas detector features a sensor, amplifier and memory module in one unit that allows the unit to be calibrated independently and plugged into any detector for immediate use without any adjustments. Suitable applications include general use in commercial and industrial settings.
