L-com Global Connectivity, a manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has announced that it has released a series of  M12 cable assemblies.

L-com’s line of M12 cable assemblies are made for the demanding applications. For extra strength, these cables are built with high-flex, outdoor CMX-rated, double-shielded, FR-TPE cable and IP68 rated M12 connectors. They are designed to exceed category standards and ensure optimal network throughput even in harsh industrial or extreme weather conditions. These cable assemblies are available off-the-shelf with connector options that include D-coded, 4-position male M12, 4-position female M12 and standard RJ45 combinations.

The Flame-Retardant Thermoplastic Elastomer (FR-TPE) cable jackets are resistant to oil, sunlight (UV) and weld spatter. Additionally, these cables are rated for 600V and are flex-tested to 1 million cycles at 10x cable OD and 10 million cycles at 20x cable OD. A double-shielded braid and foil design provides maximum protection from EMI/RFI. These cables are ideal for various applications such as industrial Ethernet, test equipment, industrial controls, factory automation, I/O connectivity and sensor and actuator connectivity.
