The new InfoWorks ICM Suite delivers a complete integrated catchment management and flood and pollution control solution in a single user interface powered by its advanced 1D/2D hydrodynamic flow equations solver engine coupled with sophisticated time-series database and risk-based analysis. InfoWorks ICM simultaneously considers both belowground and aboveground elements of catchments to accurately represent all flow paths, enabling true integrated river, sewer and overland flow dynamic modeling. It also takes interactions of natural and man-made environments into account, and effectively simulates the impact of polluting runoff and effluent from urban areas on water quality. InfoWorks ICM RiskMaster accurately computes both the damage caused by specific flood events and expected annual flood damage. Different flood risk management alternatives and their potential impacts can be readily assessed and compared, and the best plan identified. Calculations are based on the hydraulic, hydrologic and economic data for any number of simulated damage receptors including residential, commercial and industrial properties. InfoWorks ICM TSDB lets users archive, analyze and aggregate real-time and historical data, including radar images and meteorological forecasts, into user-defined actionable information. They can then use this data to not only drive simulations of past and future events, but quickly and reliably assess network performance in real time and respond to potential overflows, flooding and other non-routine events. These tools enable faster high-quality project completion, better-informed decision making, and more efficient asset management and business planning – saving time and money in the process. They also allow users to produce stunning and engaging project presentations.

“Our steadfast commitment has always been to deliver a world-class, world-leading product portfolio that recognizes our customers’ feedback, meets or exceeds their requirements, and protects their investments,” said Andrew Walker, client service manager and wastewater sector leader for Innovyze. “The new InfoWorks ICM Suite provides a complete set of superior modeling tools to address all aspects of integrated catchment management. It is the ultimate solution for optimal management and operation of urban and rural catchment systems.”

“This is absolutely the best decision support tool for urban drainage systems,” added J. Erick Heath, P.E., vice president and director of Americas Operations for Innovyze. “The new InfoWorks ICM Suite is unlike anything else in our industry, with the power and flexibility to handle a broad range of watershed management projects. It maximizes productivity and ensures high quality at maximum cost savings by accelerating all phases of the modeling workflow process, making it easier and faster for users to optimize urban and river catchments. It is simply the most advanced and comprehensive toolset for planning, designing, operating and sustaining safe and reliable drainage systems that protect public health and our waterways.”

The release propels InfoWorks ICM product suite applications into the next generation. The comprehensive nature of the new bundle supports the increasingly widespread adoption of integrated catchment modeling, risk-based flood management policies and real-time field and radar data-driven simulations and predictive forecasting technology by the global wastewater industry. It also furthers Innovyze’s time-honored practice of continually adding value to its software and bringing unmatched smart network modeling capabilities, backed by unsurpassed technical support, into the mainstream.

“Our customers are engaged in transforming the world around us for the greater good,” said Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D., BCEEM, NAE, Hon.D.WRE, Dist.D.NE, F.ASCE, president, COO and chief technical officer of Innovyze. “This vital and comprehensive new solution opens a world of modeling possibilities that will help them make an immediate difference in people’s lives, our communities, and our society. Our new InfoWorks ICM Suite enables them to simulate reality as never before by giving them access to the world’s most comprehensive watershed modeling tools. The suite equips them with new power to effectively plan, manage, design, protect, maintain and operate highly efficient, reliable and better-performing urban drainage systems — promoting the well-being and advancement of people everywhere. What’s more, they can achieve these advances while staying competitive and improving ROI. No other software offers this level of capabilities.”
