OWINGS MILLS, MD, Nov 16, 2016 – Rand Worldwide announces that its IMAGINiT Technologies division has released IMAGINiT Clarity 2017.1. IMAGINiT Clarity allows users to access and use more of the valuable data stored in Autodesk Revit software models, increasing its value as a model management hub for building information model (BIM) coordinators, administrators and the entire extended team.
“The latest release of IMAGINiT Clarity provides new model and design analytics, as well as linking abilities to other business tools, enhancing the usage of data collected from the BIM,” says Bill Zavadil, senior vice president of professional services, IMAGINiT Technologies. “IMAGINiT Clarity 2017.1 goes beyond task automation to give BIM coordinators and administrators a comprehensive solution that acts as a portal into the model. It allows them to analyze valuable model data, identify any issues with the model and take appropriate action. Data extracted from the model can also be incorporated into the organization’s own dashboards and easily shared with the entire project team.”
Expanding the Model Management Hub
IMAGINiT Clarity allows organizations to learn more about their projects with analytics, model views and reports. Providing BIM teams with greater access to the data available in Revit improves the decision making throughout the organization. The 2017.1 update to IMAGINiT Clarity expands the spokes of this model management hub with five new features, including:
- Autodesk Dynamo/Macro Integration allows users to turn existing Dynamo scripts or Macros into Clarity tasks that can be scheduled to run in a batch or at a specific time.
- BIM Analytics allow a deeper understanding of model data over time and help BIM coordinators and administrators make the model faster, smaller and more efficient. Organizations can also incorporate Clarity’s analytic data into their own corporate dashboards.
- Improved A360 Collaboration for Revit Integration leverages the new Autodesk Forge platform to provide more robust access to models in A360.
- Task Sequences simplify the scheduling and reporting of multiple tasks by consolidating grouping and timing. Results are also streamlined to appear on a single report.
“We use IMAGINiT Clarity’s analytics to monitor all the Revit projects we have under way,” says Jim Martin, chief information officer, Shepley Bulfinch. “It acts as a hub for automatic data collection for all of our ongoing projects, including what work is being done on specific models, how the models are performing and in which of our offices across the country they are located. Clarity’s data is also easily incorporated into our own corporate dashboards, leading to a more comprehensive understanding of how Revit is being used across our business.”
IMAGINiT industry experts will provide demonstrations of Clarity 2017.1 at the Autodesk University (AU 2016) IMAGINiT booth (#2917).
For those not attending AU2016, IMAGINiT experts will host a complimentary 60 minute webcast on December, 2 at 11:00 AM (Eastern) to highlight the new features in Clarity 2017.1. Attendance is free, but advanced registration is required.
