SAN RAFAEL, CA, July 9, 2015 – Carmel Software announces that it has embedded the HVAC Equipment Locator app into twelve (12) of its existing iOS apps including the HVAC Toolkit Ultimate, HVAC Duct Sizer, HVAC PT Chart, HVAC ResLoad-J, and others. This means that users now get all of the functionality of the stand-alone Locator app in addition to the existing functionality of these apps.
The HVAC Equipment Locator app allows users to track, share, and customize their equipment nameplate and maintenance data, including:
- Track equipment location, nameplate, and maintenance data along with photos and spec sheets.
- Share all of the data with other authorized users by automatically syncing the data.
- Customize the app input screens so users can store and view the exact data about building, equipment, or maintenance events. Perfect for performing commissioning and other specialized activities.
- Manage all of the equipment data and user access using the new Equipment Locator Cloud website.
By embedding the Locator app into the apps listed above, they now have 35,000 users who have access to this functionality. Eventually, all of their stand-alone apps will include the Locator app … all part of their goal to turn the Locator app and its accompanying Locator Cloud Web service into a platform for HVAC service, maintenance, and design.
