Graebert Embeds Spatial Constraint Solver

GraebertlogoBERLIN, Germany, July 2, 2014 – Graebert GmbH, the pioneer in developing high-performance CAD solutions crossing desktop and mobile devices, announced it has entered into a licensing agreement with Spatial Corp., a Dassault Systèmes (VÉLIZY-VILLACOUBLAY, France) subsidiary, to incorporate their best-in-class Constraint Design Solver (CDS) into Graebert’s CAD technologies.

Constraint Design Solver (CDS) is a high-performance 2D and 3D constraint-manager for design applications with 2D sketching and 3D assembly requirements. The component, industry-tested as part of Dassault Systèmes V5 technology and 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, offers third-party application developers a proven, easy-to-implement solution that enables real-time manipulation and solving complex 2D and 3D constraint problems.

“We are very excited about the incredible new possibilities offered by the CDS solver for our products and OEM partners and are issuing a call to action for developers to test the combined power of Graebert’s DWG-based 2D & 3D CAD technology with the acclaimed 2D & 3D constraints solver made ubiquitous by Spatial and Dassault Systèmes,” said Cédric Desbordes of Graebert sales and marketing.

Developers should email cds@graebert.com to obtain more information and/or evaluate the CDS constraints solver and its integration with Graebert’s DWG-based 2D & 3D CAD technologies. Graebert also calls CAD Developers to join the Graebert Annual Meeting, scheduled from October 9 to 10, 2014 in Berlin, to learn more about this technology and some other major breakthroughs to be announced by Graebert during this event.

Interesting… Dassault owns Solidworks. Solidworks gave us Draftsight. Drafsight is powerd by Graebert’s ARES engine. And now Graebert licenses Dassault’s CDS. Could a new Drafsight (Solidworks LT) be in the making?
